Me and my partner were planning on going to Comiket this year since we haven’t been able to go since 2019 and have been having a difficult time understanding the procedures now that the event is ticketed. Hopefully someone here, maybe someone who is also going, can help us.
We were planning on going casually, not cosplaying or early entry or anything. From what we understand, the “PM entry” tickets are not sold by a lottery and are simply first come/first served. Looking through the directions on how to pay took us to the Ticket Pay website, where it appears that all tickets, even the PM entry, are sold out.
Of course it’s very possible we just missed our opportunity, but I wanted to reach out just to see if we were missing something or if indeed all tickets are now not available.
I’m doubtful because a) I read online that tickets for Summer Comiket 2022 sold up until the day and were readily available, b) Japanese websites are often very… “touchy” and will display incorrect information depending on how you access them, and c) even Comiket’s official website is not updated with this information.
There is very little discussion on Reddit that I can find, every thing is from quite some time ago or refers to the lottery for earlier entry.
I appreciate any help or insight people here may have. Hoping we can still go! Thanks

That was when the country is not fully open and people are still not travelling in full force.

It’s literally say 完売 on the website so idk where you get your information.

So basically it’s been back to lottery system at least since this last summer one, availability all depends on the ticket you’re going for. “First come first serve” tickets pop up if cancellations happen and open spots up or if there’s surplus leftover for afternoon admissions is how it works.
Atm they’re listed as sold out on Ticket Pay (which is where you get them) so you’re basically SOL unless people drop out and you can snatch an opening in time, which isn’t likely.
