As someone who arrived to narita yesterday, call it bs. Immigration line was crazy, spent at least 3 hrs there.
More news! Water is wet. This story is common knowledge. Taxis are available 24/7. People flying into Haneda usually live or have booked a hotel relatively nearby.
Going the day after New Year’s Day I hope the lines have died down by then. Wishful thinking .
