Hello, I was starting to look at moving to another country for work and couldn’t find much on my trade for work In japan. Will my qualifications transfer to this region? I have about 5 years experience in welding and am going to specialize in tig pipe welding.
How are wages compared to Canada? Currently making around $100,000/year

Qualifications won’t transfer, but you could retest, likely in Japanese, in Japan. More importantly, unless you’re Japanese or married to one, you can’t get a visa for that line of work.
