but i thought naito was dead and his whole body was one bump away from crumbling to dust?
BUSHI wrestled 135 times with a pretty broken body as well. Much shorter match times tbf but that’s a lot of shows!
NJPW’s iron man.
Should have won the G1.
Which is 100% on brand for Naito, the dude with the gimmick that goes out of his way to convince everyone (including himself) that he doesn’t give a fuck and is above it all, but ends up being the workhorse.
Makes sense! Naito always wanted to wrestle at every show to stay sharp in the ring. It’s a reason why he has said multiple times that he always wants to work the World Tag League tour even if he’s already a champion.
A whole year and he didn’t even manage a full week of work. What a bum! /s
So I’ve actually been keeping track of who wrestled the most this month, among other stats, I plan on making a full post about it later. But yeah Naito had the most match time out of anyone this month. The entire top of that list is just SZKG and LIJ, they wrestled a ton in December.
He’s an iron man
Actually just quietly bushiroad have worked him and okada into the ground and I hope a more sensible approach is taken with all this young talent coming through
Sounds like he was the njpw workhorse this year. What’s he doing at WK?
Naito being the absolute glue holding things together, as per usual.
You’ll always be my champion Naito!
And above all, he remains tranquilo 👊🏽
But m’old and broken down! Literal toothpicks and tape!
Give this man the title run he deserves.
His 3 matches with Okada and the 2 with Ospreay were spectacular.
And he did it all with Tranquilo
