I am a fluent Japanese speaker who just moved back to Japan. I would like to increase my ability to read, so I’m looking for books to study kanji specifically.
I went to a couple bookstores, but couldnt decide on what to purchase. Does anyone have recommendations for kanji study books?

If you’re fluent and is looking to improve your reading, i’d suggest to learn vocab instead of kanji, by i.e. reading books (with yomichan if you’re unfamiliar with the vocab reading).
