am I (AUS) allowed to apply for working holiday visa when my work is onlyfans?

Heyoo I’m from Australia and my primary source of income is onlyfans/fansly so all online sex work pretty much but just selling photos, videos, underwear. Was reading through the visas and wondered if it clashed with:

“The working holiday participants are strictly prohibited from working at bars, cabarets, nightclubs, gambling establishments and other premises affecting public morals in Japan. If a participant works at such a place, he or she is deemed to violate Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act and will face deportation except where he or she is deemed to be victims of human trafficking.”

So would this be effecting morals in japan? And I’m also guessing JET program is absolutely out of the question for minor saftey and things like that. Any help appreciated!

Correct, sex work is sex work.

You don’t apply to JET as a WHV holder, it’s a separate thing (and yeah you’d likely get rejected during the background check phase).

  2. A different way of looking at it is that in normal times you don’t have to be working at all, so once Japan does away with the ERFS system you won’t have to worry about it.
