Hello – here I have a preliminary itinerary. please let me know if i should change anything.

Day 1 – Arrive Narita 4pm Thurs. Get Yen from 7-11 atms. Take Skyliner (will have bought from klook; as well as buy 3 attractions and 72hr subway pass) to Ueno to airbnb which is in Arakawa and eat dinner nearby. Take train to Akihabara and walk around the arcades, anime shops, etc. Return to airbnb.

Day2 – Day trip to Fuji. Take subway to Shinjuku – either take bus or train (departing around 8a) to Fujiyoshida. visit Chureito Pagoda. walk back south towards Nishiura st (rt 139) and stop by cafe/eatery in the area for snackbreak/iconic views. Walk down towards golden tori shrine landmark on rt139 (near Mt Fuji train station). Then get lunch in area. From here I’m not sure what else to do in Fujiyoshida. Would it be a good idea to take the train to Kawaguchiko and explore? Return to Tokyo by about 5-6p and eat dinner around Shinjuku.

Day3 – Breakfast around airbnb. Take train to Tsukiji fish market and try out snacks around the market. After wards head to Team Labs museum (buy on klook). Then eat lunch nearby or near Joypolis (buy on klook), which will be next stop. Dinner around Ginza or Ueno station.

Day 4 – After breakfast, head to Asakusa, to Nakamise street, to Senso ji temple. snacks lunch around there. Go to Tokyo station, Imperial palace gardens. Evening to Tokyo towers, Roppongi and dinner around there.

Day 5 – Take Toden Arakawa Tram. stop at Ikebukuro and explore. then subway towards Shinjuku. visit Meiji Jingu. Lunch around Shinjuku. Go to Shibuya, street crossing. Shibuya Sky (klook) for sunset then dinner nearby.

  1. 5 day trip I would not waste half a day going to fujiyoshida

would skip tsukiji, ginza and joyopolis.

ginza is boring, tsukiji is out of the way for wayyy overpriced food, and joyopolis is meh. hit some museums
