as title suggests, got offered a job in Tokyo and wanted to see how the culture and friendliness is for foreigners. Do you find it easy to make friends and talk to people? I am super outgoing and love doing things outside and meeting new people. I have read that Japan isn’t the friendliest to foreigners, especially if you don’t learn Japanese.

My simple advice that if you are seriously considering to move to Japan start learning Japanese right f**** now.
Especially as an extrovert like you and me, it’s very much essential.
If you want to live life and not survive like a robot that is.
No matter how much online people sugar coat it without japanese you are only surviving for the most part
I personally would probably dislike living in Japan if I didn’t speak the language. It would be overwhelmingly too stressful.
