I’ve noticed my transfers via wise take a while to go through to my yucho account (compared to transfers I’ve done to friends who have accounts with other banks) and if I send a transfer on Friday I always have to wait until Monday/Tuesday for them to go through to yucho. Is that just coincidence? Or do they only process transfers during business hours?

Yucho to Yucho and Yucho to other banks are always instantaneous for me.
I mean, ATMs in Japan have specific working hours. I usually find bank transfers take 24 to 72h though, even back in the US.
