Itinerary check – 13 days Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka

Hey everyone, I’m planning my first trip from the 28th of March until the 10th of April

I will be spending the first few days in Tokyo, most of my time in Kyoto/Osaka and then return to Tokyo before going back. Planning to get a JR pass for transportation.

I’m interested in cherry blossoms, shrines, parks, exploring cities and some more rural natural areas.

I’m still researching and changing things around so any recommendations and thoughts are welcome.

I’ve got a few side day trips around Osaka but feel like I would run out of things to do in Osaka when I get back from them. What do you think?

**3. Tokyo (East) (March 30th)**

* Ueno park

**4. Tokyo -> Kyoto (March 31st)**

* Check out of hotel
* Travel to Kyoto

* Yasaka jinja

**5. Kyoto (April 1st)**

* Keage incline
* Gion streets
* Pontocho alley
* Kamo river

**6. Kyoto (April 2nd)**

* Wake up early
* Fushimi Inari shrine
* Nanzenji Suirokaku

**7. Kyoto (April 3rd)**

* Wake up early
* Arashiyama Bamboo forest
* Sagano Scenic Railway

**8. Kyoto -> Osaka (April 4th)**

* Check out of hotel
* Travel to Osaka
* Check into hotel
* Shinsekai

**9. Osaka (April 5th)**

* Osaka Aquarium
* Osaka castle park
* Dotonbori

**10. Osaka (April 6th)**

* Day trip to Tomogashima

**11. Osaka (April 7th)**
