As tomorrow is the last day of the year I want to put on some kimono and do a hatsumode in Asakusa or Meiji Jingu tomorrow. I already have a kimono I bought from Kamakura but missing geta and tabi socks. While I was searching I found something, a hybrid of sneakers and tabi socks. Is there anywhere in Tokyo where you can buy it directly from the store instead of Amazon?

This seems like a post about shopping, maybe your question is solved by [the wiki page](https://www.reddit.com/r/japanlife/wiki/shopping)?

Adachiya (あだちや: 〒111-0032 東京都台東区浅草2-22-12) carries a variety of tabi shoes and they have a storfront in Asakusa. Will they have your size in stock and will they be open tomorrow? You’d have to call them and inquire to find out. Here is the listing for the tabi on their website so you can see what they, at least in theory, stock: https://www.adachiya.co.jp/smartphone/list.html?search_key=%A4%BF%A4%D3
I bought mine at a workman’s shop, I can’t think of the shop name but it’s like where you might get gloves or jackets or jumpsuits for working.
