1. It really pisses me off. Hoping 2023 is his year.

2. ZSJ is a really good worker, but he’s a step below both Will and Jay for different reasons. I don’t think he’s a believable champion and don’t want to see him with the title personally.

   Edit: Fuck me for sharing my opinion I guess. Lol

3. I think that’s gonna change in the new year. I think we’re still a bit away from him possibly getting the world title, but I can see him snagging either the never or us championships some time during the year. I definitely think he’s winning the TV championship.

5. I’m curious how popular ZSJ is in Japan. Every time he makes his entrance, I always see fans holding those ZSJ towels.

6. They had a TV Asahi popularity poll of all Japanese wrestlers and the only Njpw wrestlers Zack was below (or above in this case) were all former champions and the 2 junior aces.

   With Zack seemingly without a faction for now I think they might have some big ideas for zack.

   Out of everyone who could take it off Jay, Okada and Ospreay (if he beats Okada for the belt) I’d put zack pretty high as a possibility of dethroning all 3.

   Also a decent chance zack finally gets a single title this year with the TV belt, but honestly as a big zack fan I want zacks first belt to be the hw belt.

8. I think we overvalue titles, and it’s doubtful Zack feels slighted. Especially when they gave him Shibata, the pin on Suzuki, and being Narita’s WK match. His standing backstage is probably higher than most.

9. I just want Zack and Jay to have a match, dammit! Finally got Ospreay/Naito, give me Switchblade vs Tekker!

11. I love ZSJ, don’t get me wrong. I think he deserves the world from Gedo.

    But unless he comes out and says “yeah, that’s not why” … I’m not going to hold Ospreay’s choosing to leave Japan against him. He posted something not long ago about his father beating cancer.

    Having gone through the “father with cancer thing” myself … yeah, I’d have flown back to him in a heartbeat – even if the price was losing my dream job or something else equally awesome

    But it’s also because he doesn’t remind me of someone from high school or a terrible ex.

15. I am baffled ZSJ is number three of those guys when besides what the post mentions of him staying in Japan, the dude is learning Japanese and incorporating that into more of his promos and it’s getting over with the audiences.

20. The good thing is that zack can wrestle for as long as he wants with this style he could pull a Suzuki and really go on forever

21. I kind of made peace with the fact that Zack will probably never win the world title, I really hold hope that someone from Suzuki-gun would win the IWGP HW Championship but sometimes things aren’t always what you want them to be.

    That’s doesn’t change the fact that ZSJ is by far my favorite wrestler in New Japan

22. I’m still hoping ZSJ’s day will come he deserves a title run more than White & Ospreay

23. I think if ZSJ is willing to put over Ren Narita at WK, he should be rewarded with the New Japan Cup — and hopefully parlay that into the IWGP Heavyweight Championship

25. If ZSJ doesn’t get a run it’s a fucking disgrace really. The man has and is immersing himself into the country, lived there throughout pandemic and you know won’t ever fuck off to AEW or WWE.

    Alright, my outrage is a bit extreme, but seriously, ZSJ for a gaijin has gone to Omega levels of learning the language and living there. It helps he has friends like Brookes living there with him, but still.

27. i really feel like narita is going over for WK but after that zsj is going to finally pick up his first singles title while backed by his own faction next year

28. If Jay White’s time as Bullet Club leader ends after this WK, then ZSJ could take over and get that main event slot

31. I’m not even a massive ZSJ fan but he is NJPW’s top Gaijin at the moment. No one is more dedicated to the company than him and he should have been given better title reigns.
