As I’ve been living in Japan for the past month, I’ve noticed that the nori on Lawson’s onigiri tends to stay in one piece, but 7-11’s tends to crumble and fall apart and get seaweed flakes all over my floor. However, both are still delicious, perhaps 7-11’s being more delicious which leaves me internally conflicted.
What are your thoughts, which do you prefer? Or maybe you prefer FamilyMart onigiri?
If you have any suggestions of high quality nori brands for homemade onigiri, I’d love to hear your recommendations.
