I purchased Rocket Japanese 1, 2, and 3 from Rocket Language, and have just started using it. I’m still in the first lesson, but already it seems fast paced and not very intuitive. The last 2 exercises seemed to focus on random words (clothing and colors) and had nothing to do with previous conversational lessons. Am I judging prematurely? Is there a proper way to use this program? Perhaps a better one that I should be using? Should I be supplementing this with other things? I studied casually for a few months last year but am getting more serious now as I am planning to travel to Japan in 2023.
