  1. First of all, I’m happy for you for making delicious sushi that you enjoy. That’s all that matters.

    However the sushi lover part of me can’t help but being triggered just a little by you using Ootoro in a homemade avocado maki 😂

    But again, all that matters is how you liked it.

  2. For presentation (if it really matters), after you cut rolls into smaller individual pieces either angle them against each other or lay flat. This will help to keep pieces more round than oval.

    Also if rice is too moist it makes it harder to keep round as the Nori becomes soft.

    I bet yours taste great and that’s the most important thing when making at home. Presentation takes practice.
