Any way to see a doctor over the holidays?

Hurt my leg and can’t walk. Not sure how to get hold of a doctor at this time in Tokyo.

  1. Go to your city hall website and look for the list of on call doctors during the holiday period. At least one clinic in every specialism should be designated to stay open during each day. Phone ahead to book.

  2. If you show up at an ER But DIDNT come by ambulance basically they won’t see you for whatever reason. So just call the ambulance.

  3. If you can get yourself to a hospital and it’s not urgent, call 7119. They will find the nearest place to you that can treat you. You will probably have to call ahead and check if they can have a doctor on staff who can deal with your problem.

  4. Not to scare you but my brother literally snapped his arm’s bone in half and was told to wait after new years till they could do the surgery….
Calling 119 helped in rapping it with cloth and that was about it.

Worst experience for him, you could hear the bones grinding when we was trying to stand up….

    FYI he lived in Shibuya-ku
