I’m usually just surfing on here but I have a question if anyone can help.
I was wondering if anyone is having this issue, I have been in Japan since the start of June and got my spouse visa near the end of August, I already have the SMBC Card but I haven’t been able to use paidy, I applied for paidy plus a few months ago and got denied and now it says we will let you know when you can use paidy plus, however the regular paidy also doesn’t work for me, any purchase I try to make regardless of what kind on Amazon gets declined, and I have no idea what to do, I tried sending them an email and they said that they review each payment and there’s nothing they can do and didn’t provide my with any information.
Any help would be great! Thank you!

They declined to extend you credit. There is not a second step. Use cash or your credit card to buy things you can pay off right away.
What is your credit history like? Have you ever missed a payment?
To answer both your questions, I have had an issue with my name registered to my SMBC Card so my first payment didn’t go through and I called them 2 days after withdrawal date and explained the situation then transferred the money by bank transfer, after that the 2nd payment I called them same day as the payment and asked if the issue was resolved and they said not yet so please transfer again and I did that as well the next day as the staff suggested, so those are the only two times so far and I’m not sure if that has had any effect on my credit score or if any of them counted as late payment, I also tried paidy before those two things happened and it didn’t work.
Advice: don’t spend money that you don’t have
