Subscription-based pet food in Japan?

Hi everyone,

Apologies if this has been asked before! I did some searching and googling but haven’t found anything useful.

I was wondering if there are subscription pet food services here in Japan, similarly to Chewy in the US?

Of course there’s always Amazon but I want to make sure I’m not missing anything.

Any other pet advice is welcome! Pet-sitting services, best pet store chains, tips on finding a great vet, etc. I’d love to hear it.

Thanks in advance!

  1. Royal Canin does a monthly subscription for their food. I’m sure other brands do the same on their websites.

DoggyBox is a monthly subscription box for toys.

Check the prices at pet stores. A lot of the same/similar toys are available at home improvement stores for a cheaper price.

  2. I originally had a subscription with Elmo for their food, but had to change it due to allergies. Now I just get food for my dogs on Amazon because it’s usually at least 30% cheaper than any pet store. I’m currently getting Nutro Supremo but buying off Amazon is slightly cheaper than the subscription on their official site.
