I’m currently living in Saitama and looking to build a house in Kansai in the next 6-12 months. Anyone have any advice on how to approach building a house that far away? I thought about finding the land and a building company and then renting a cheap apartment near there while it’s being built, but I don’t want to pay to move twice in a short period. I also don’t want to stay in Saitama the whole time because I cannot go to the construction site easily, and I figure I will need to go a number of times/should check up on it frequently. Has anyone done something similar?
