Hello guys.
My mom (52) and dad (56) are going to stop by Japan for a short trip on the way back to the US.
Their plan is not to see Japan as much as they can but to accomplish these three goals:
* Experience nice Ryokan.
* Omakase at a nice Sushi Restaurant.
* Eat a nice unagi meal.
So I created this itinerary for them. I have never been to Japan myself (visiting there for the very first time this July!) so I would love to hear your feedback.
D1: Sun, 4/23
* 11:20 am – Land in NRT from ICN airport (no need to worry about jet lag).
* 12:00 pm – ship large luggage to Conrad Tokyo (do you know if the hotel will be willing to hold on to their luggage 1 day before the check in date?).
* 01:00 pm – Grab a quick snack near the station.
* 03:00 pm – train to Hakone. Eat at Unagitei Tomoei.
* 06:00 pm – Check in at Kijitei Hoeiso. Spend the rest of the day inside the Ryokan and relax.
D2: Mon, 4/24
* 08:00 am – Breakfast at the Ryokan. Check out.
* 10:00 am – Hakone Ropeway
* 01:00 pm – Grab a quick meal. Train back to Tokyo.
* 03:00 pm – Check in at Conrad Tokyo.
* 04:00 pm – Look around Meiji Jingu and Yoyoji Park. Is it possible to see the sakura tree around this time? If so, what would be a good location?
* 08:30 pm – Dinner at Sushisho Masa. I am planning on getting them reservations through the hotel concierge. Or do you guys have any alternative recommendations for the sushi omakase?
* 10:00 pm – Sleep back at the Hotel.
D2: Tues, 4/25
* 10:00 am – Eat breakfast at the hotel.
* 12:00 pm – Check out at Conrad Tokyo.
* 01:00 pm – Lunch at Tsukiji Fish Market?
* 02:00 pm – Sightseeing around Tokyo (any rec?).
* 03:00 pm – Head toward the HND airport.
* 06:25 pm – Fly back to LAX.
Thank you!

Yeah they should okay with it. You can also tell the shipping counter the day you want to luggage to arrive. They usually delay delivery up to 7 days.

Its probably a bit late.
I believe a lot of the food stalls in Tsukiji Market will be closed by noon. May be worth a slightly earlier check out from the hotel if this is important.
