  1. Their leader and a handful of the members got the death penalty a few years ago… They aren’t seen in a positive light at all.

  2. Choreography by: Some old weird dude who doesn’t know anything about dancing but feels, completely unjustifiably, like he does.

  3. I saw them standing there in that formation and remembered the zuikin English “I have a bad case of diarrhea”

  4. considering they perpetrated the deadliest terrorist attack in japan i think japanese find them a tad bit creepy

  5. I’ve never heard of these guys before. What’s their deal? From what I learned of the lyrics the leader thinks of himself as some sort of ruler or God? Is that it or does the cult stand for more than that?

  6. They literally tried to plant chemical weapon in subway stations, everyone hate them

  7. What do a cardiovascular surgeon, an electrical engineer, and three physicists have in common?

A: They all joined this very group before it gained notoriety…cults aren’t always as obvious as everyone thinks they would be, no matter what country you live in.

  8. Firstly, yes, absolutely. Japanese find cults creepy just like anywhere else.

Secondly, whoever is singing this is making me think of South Park.

    I hate cults…

  9. No. Japanese people are definitely not disturbed by the group best known for one of the largest terrorist attacks in their history. That’s why the video has “Japan’s most notorious cult” in the title. In Japan it’s totally normal to dance around singing about how Asahara is the leader of Japan and, indeed, the whole world.

  10. I really don’t find the dance creepy at all. Could it be because I have no context and have no idea what is this associated with?
