We have three different versions for the last week of our trip.

* Either the one above.
* Or reduce Takayama and Kanazawa, and add Shizuoka area (Izu, Shizuoka City, Mishima, Atami, Onsen overlooking Fuji etc.) after Tokyo (return to Tokyo to fly out from Narita last night)
* Or remove Takayama and Kanazawa, go to the Shizuoka area after Kyoto on 20th, stay there for 4 days instead, and go to Tokyo afterward

What do you think about Shizuoka?

Also, what do you think about the itinerary? Do you think it’s so ambitious? It could be more ambitious? Remove stuff? Add stuff?

  1. 12: A day trip to Kobe might be more interesting than Wakayama, it’s also closer and you can utilize JRPass for bullet train.

    19: Fushimi Inari Taisha

    25: Go to Shibuya SKY for the best view of the city. Not sure where you will be staying at, but worth to mention: a train ride from Shibuya to Asakusa is 1 hour long.

    28: Hakone is better as a full day experience, so 2 nights.
