Has anyone joined any of the snowboarding circles(Tokyo/Kanagawa), I’m trying to up my amount from going 3-4 times a season to 2-3 times a month this year. If you have how were they?
I found quite a few of them that are all Japanese but most of them are only recruiting females? Are they just for picking people up and not seriously snowboarding?

Haven’t been on these trips, but have friends who have. Everyone is welcome, nothing about recruiting specific genders, and the services are available in English though I think they regularly have Japanese folks join as well.

If you can speak Japanese, this is a pretty large group that has snowboarding trips happen basically all the time. There are over 400 members in the line group, and you just vote on a poll to join whenever it matches your schedule. (both links are of the same group)
