Hi reddit, does anyone have experience working with LINE as a software engineer, or maybe you know somebody? Could you please share your experience working there. And if possible about relocation process itself (how much company helped, etc). I tried looking at vorkers, but so far I left with a bit unclear impression.
For the context, I recently received an offer with relocation. I’m from Europe, also have JLPT N2.

Got a buddy who just started working there not too long ago. He loves it there. Definitely one of the better companies to work for here

Well I can’t answer about the job per se since I’m about to move to Tokyo to work for them in one month. But at least I can say they are trustworthy. They gave me an offer a year ago and kept it secured despite being locked outside Japan two times due to Covid.
So far the relocation process has been quite smooth, they paid for a 25 m² studio in the center of Shinjuku for two months to give me time to find a place of my own, and gave me some money for moving expenses. They also provided me some help with the documents. That also offered to join and help me to do some administrative tasks at the city hall after my arrival.
