Itinerary Check for 14 Days: Tokyo — Kyoto — Osaka — Ishigaki — Tokyo

Hi all,

my girlfriend and I are planning to travel to Japan this spring. Below is a first draft of an itinerary for the trip. I really would appreciate feedback on it.

There are days when I just mentioned traveling from one place to another. Most trips don’t take a whole day and we can just do things from the list of other days for that place.

Also, we only have to use the Shinkansen once for traveling to Kyoto from Tokyo. Is the JR rail pass even worth it then, or is it more beneficial to just buy this one ticket for the Shinkansen and do all the other routes with a Passmo/Suica?

And finally, does anyone know what the AirBnB situation is like? We heard that there were problems in previous years, mainly because of the pandemic, I think.

Thank you very much in advance :).
