6. Happy birthday! That sushi is so recognizable. Marukai is my go to. There sushi is always delicious. I started making aburi salmon myself it’s very worth it for the cost, everything is there at Marukai that you need!

   Looks pretty good, but why did they sear the fish?

   When I lived there, my gf and I went to some sushi shop in the gaslamp district and I learned how to eat uni from one Japanese sushi chef. (Smoosh it with your tongue against the roof of your mouth to make it taste more buttery and sweeter). To this day, when I eat uni, I do that.
