One of our friends has not answered his phone or any of his emails/messages for the past few days. We know that he was sick in bed with Covid a couple of weeks ago, and also that he fell and bruised his head trying to get to the bathroom. Unfortunately none of us live nearby and can’t go to his place.
Who can we contact?

I would suggest his local police station.

Contact a police station close to where he lives. You can also try reporting your concern to his Embassy and they might reach out on your behave (depending on how involved his embassy gets in this stuff).
Police first. Explain the situation clearly, or get someone who can.
