The people saying it’s easy to get a job at ECC are a little uninformed. It’s not daunting, but certainly not easy. I did my interview with other people who were well presented, well dressed, and sociable who didn’t make the cut.
Certainly you want to bring those qualities. For a man – shave, clean haircut, wear a nice suit and tie if you can, and look professional. Research the company a little, so if they have and questions, you can answer intelligently. Practice giving a “Genki” lesson demonstration. Be very aware of how you are acting during the entire interview process. Be switched on at all times, don’t make any rude body language, don’t yawn, etc. And most importantly, brush up on your knowledge of English grammar, as you will need to do a multiple choice test on it. It’s fairly extensive, so treat it seriously.
All they really care about at the interview is how enthusiastic and personable you are. If you check those boxes, do okay on the grammar test, and aren’t a total weirdo/don’t show up late/are presentable and well groomed you’ll be fine.
