My boyfriend is going to Japan in two months, and has asked me to help him learn some basic conversation for his visit. I’ve been learning Japanese for a year now, but I’m doing it through Genki. Because I’m on a slower track for learning, I’m having trouble figuring out what would be the most important things, and grammar points basic enough that he would be able to learn within the two months. What are the most important grammar points in your opinion? What sort of vocabulary is most important? I’m also open to what sort of resources I can use to put together a “curriculum” for him or resources for him in his learning.
PS: He has visited Japan multiple times and stayed for months at a time, so he has a little knowledge of conversational Japanese, but he hasn’t visited in a few years so he’s quite rusty
