Went full Marie Kondo and decided to get rid of a lot of old clothes. I don’t want money for them, I just don’t want to put them in the garbage. If I take them to a reuse store, will they recycle or donate anything they don’t want to buy? Is there a better place to drop them off?

My local city’s waste management center has an “Eco Plaza” where residents can bring items for recycling or disposing of others in an eco-friendly manner. One of the items that is accepted is old clothing. Check with your city for similar facilities.

Uniqlo has a dropbox where you can put your old clothes. I think they donate them to other countries.
