Paid water bill in the AM, was told would be back by night, still off. What do I do?

1. You really think the _water_ company has no way to reach them over a weekend?

   Edit: if your water was disabled by something in that closet, it means that someone from the water company would have had to go into that closet. If it’s inside your dwelling, then that didn’t happen, and there’s nothing in there that would turn it back on.

2. It’s not uncommon to have the main switch outside the apartment. I wouldn’t touch anything though because I’m not a plumber, either. Call the water company tomorrow and ask. If they say it’s back you need to look for somebody in your building who knows where the switch might be.

3. Depends on what kind of building it is but apaato and houses have cover set in the ground that has the meter and the valve. Older covers are metal and newer are usually blue plastic. Has 水 on it too.

4. It won’t be inside. That would mean the staff would have had to have gone inside your home to turn it off. It will be outside. Are you in a detached house apartment or condominium?

   Or some sort of metal box/door looking thing on the wall near your apartment door like this

   They could also be in a common area like near the parking lot or electric meters but just be careful because you might not know which one is yours in that situation. They should be numbered somehow though.
