I’m not entirely sure if a post like this is allowed on this subreddit. My apologies if so to the mods.
Recently in order to further my immersion goals I’ve been trying to find mods that insert kanji into pokemon heart of gold. Believe it or not it’s entirely within the capabilities of rom hackers given that there are mods that translate the game into mandarin. I’d rather not play the game using just hiragana because I find it much harder reading kana only text then the natural script. I’m asking here because everything that I’ve entered in search engines (searching in japanese even) sadly brings up nothing, but considering how popular the game is I’d be totally surprised if nobody has ever made such a mod. If anybody knows of similar mods for other DS games (pokemon or otherwise) I’d also be happy to learn of them. All else fails I’ll just use the gen V pokemon games or animal crossing new leaf.
