Found this amazing tool to for who just ended Genki books (or is starting immersion)

Satori Reader. This website let you sort their stories by difficult, all wrote and recorded by native speakers, also translation is available in a click of the mouse. They allow you to see 2 chapters of each story for free. I will try use spaced repetition with those, until I can understand at least 90% just by listening. Any similar tools available?

  1. I recommend start by Human Japanese, aren’t really stories, but a couple of sentences instead, is the easier option to start.

  2. Been using this for around 6months now. One of the best resources I’ve found. Love it.

I use it for shadowing practice. I go through the chapters very slowly. Each new chapter I’ll read a few times, add any unknown words to my study list, and then play the audio while reading along at the same time. I’ll gradually increase the speed as I get more comfortable. Finally, I play the audio but turn off the screen and follow along just by listening. Only when I can get through the whole chapter without any trouble will I move on to the next chapter. My speaking and listening has improved dramatically since I’ve started using it
