So my mum came for Christmas and ended up in hospital with a Pulmonary Embolism which is currently being treated. However they just got her blood test back and have discovered she also has type 2 Diabetes (she had no idea). They’ve chucked her on GLP-1 I believe it’s liraglutide but I was wondering if anyone knows if Semaglutide or the new tirzepatide have been authorized for use as she’s been getting some of the usual side effects quite badly and I read changing which you use can sometime ease the side effects. Any advice will be greatly appreciated as I have no experience with diabetes at all. Thanks guys.
