In Japan, there is an onomatopoeic word specifically for when a peach flows down a river.

Sometimes it becomes a topic on SNS, but I’m curious how people outside of Japan feel about it.

  2. For those wondering, it’s どんぶらこ, used in [Momotaro, a Japanese fairy tale](https://www.city.okayama.jp/museum/momo/papershow/02.html).

    > おばあさんが川で洗濯をしていると、川上から大きな桃が、「どんぶらこ、どんぶらこ。」と流れてきました。

    Text in hiragana:
    >!おばあさんが　かわで　せんたくを　していると、　かわかみから　おおきな　ももが　「どんぶらこ、どんぶらこ。」と　ながれて　きました。!<

    I have never read どんぶらこ in other context though.
