Covid test to leave Japan

1. No you do not. (edit: you’d need one if wherever you’re flying requires a test for arrivals FROM Japan for some reason)

2. I think in jp as long as you’re fully vaxxed you can come in swiftly. Prep your Vax certificate.

3. Some airlines have had their own testing requirements. It’s very very unlikely, but it’s good to do a quick check of the airline website.

4. I did a trip to EU last week, just 3 shots were asked (OR covid test 72h before landing back to japan)
   Make sure you do the fast track registration on https://www.vjw.digital.go.jp 🙂

5. To answer the question:

   If the country you’re going to does not require tests, then you don’t have to.

   Returning to Japan on the other hand is a different story.
