I know this is extremely subjective, but I want to know your opinion nonetheless.
I plan on emigrating from my home country and am seriously considering moving to Japan for 2-5 years, before ultimately moving to a country where I would like to settle.
The main reason why I am thinking about it is because I think it could be an incredible life experience to live in a country with a completely different culture.
(As for any concerns regarding moving: I have a university degree, few years of experience working in IT, speak some basic Japanese and have significant money reserve in case things went down… so finding a job and a place to rent shouldn’t be an issue.)
