Why is it 進撃の巨人 and not 巨人の進撃? Titans of the advance? How is it not backwards?

I have a boardgame about sekigahara battle, and it’s written: 関ヶ原の戦ひ instead of 関ヶ原の戦い Is 戦ひ an old way of saying 戦い or something?
