What to do with NTT routers?

I have 4 of them! One is being used right now. Also one from Softbank. Somehow we missed the information what you supposed to return it or you will have to pay, or they didn’t give that information whenever we were canceling the contract. (Would be very convenient considering it costs like 20,000Â¥ if you don’t). What to do with them? Should I just throw them away?

  1. Are they routers or ONUs? technically they’re supposed to give you back a box to send it back or the install people who put new line in take it but if neither thing happened then they probably don’t care. I have several ADSL modems like this.

You can call NTT if you want – probably start with 116 – (can use the English line too if that’s your thing) and ask if they want them back and toss if they don’t. if they’re ONU and not router they’re particularly worthless as they’re keyed per customer and aren’t reusable at another location.
