2. Is there evidence young people not boosting is going to hurt anyone (themselves included)? From what I’ve seen it doesn’t lower their own risk by very much at all, and I’m not sure if it impacts their ability to catch/spread the disease by much either. If that’s the case, who cares what they do at this point?

3. That headline is a bit presumptuous. Perhaps they think the two shots they already have is enough? Especially since they’re not in a high-risk group to start with.

8. My coworker in her 20s was only able to get her 3rd shot last week. I’m in my 30s and could only get it a month ago. I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of people are still waiting for vouchers.

11. I got my 3rd a while ago. No adverse effects, my arm was sore for a day. Everybody’s body is different. All the shots, my body has reacted fine.

    Your mileage may vary. To me, the benefits of getting it outweighed the possible negatives.

12. They’re very diligent about masking and going home before 8pm, so it’s probably okay, honestly.

13. Japan had one of the lowest covid death rates in the developed world. Not to mention mortality in the under 70 range was miniscule. Many young have not been able to get it (many have been offered too). My guess is the young people here just don’t care about it anymore and are not willing to risk vaccine side effects for it.

    I admit that I have questioned whether the vaccine actually works, especially after seeing so many second-vaccinated coworkers catch covid.

    Plus I wonder if the vaccine is causing the pandemic to last longer. Idk why.
