Hi! I’m moving from Okinawa to Tokyo and I want to take my big TV with me! I know Yamato has a service for this, and I’ve inquired with them (Still no reply…) but it seems like it might not be available between Okinawa and the mainland. I can’t google it in Japanese, but does anyone know another way I can do this? Is there a moving company or anything that’ll do just one item?

They’ll come over, box it up, ship it, and unpack it at your destination. I’m not sure what the markup for Okinawa would be, but on the mainland it costs around 5000 yen for a 55″.
You should call there, regular yamato isn’t going to want to deal with a TV *unless* you have the original box for it and can put it back in it.
