Thankful for the Transit System

I just filled up my car’s gas tank for the first time since October, and it only cost about ¥3100.

I have a car, but I barely need to use it. I’m so grateful for the public transit system. I might drive it once, for about an hour, every other week.

I love it. I tell my friends back in the US about how much I spend on gas, and they almost have a heart attack.

We are very lucky here.
