I was learning japanese from year 10 to year 11 (i’m from new zealand/aotearoa so my year levels aren’t grades lol) but had to drop out of school for alternative education due to harassment. Unfortunately I forgot the most important parts of grammar for japanese writing and conversation. I remember the hiragana alphabet, some katakana and basic kanji. know some phrases and words but can’t speak in proper sentences :(.
I just miss learning the language so much and I intended learning it so I could possibly go to Japan for a holiday and indulge myself in a foreign culture without having to worry about a language barrier too much.
