moving recommendations

Hello, I’ll be moving from Ibaraki to Nagano soon and I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations in an affordable moving company. I dont have a lot of things but I can’t fit everything in my little kcar. 🙁

Any recommendations will be appreciated.:)

  1. Go to [kakaku.com](https://kakaku.com)

and choose moving companies and submit your details.
You will get a bunch of calls from different companies and the bidding war will start.

Some companies will use tricks and play dirt by saying “other companies will steal your belonging, they won’t come etc” but that never happened to me.

For example: 0123 wanted to charge me around 75,000 for a 1 room to move just 18KM, but then Arisan said they could do it for 30,000, and the last one Sakai Hikkoshi said they could do for 29,700 lol.

I ended up choosing the cheapest one and everything went fine.

  2. My experience was to fill out some form online to get quotes from various companies, then receive a quote from a company, then explain that quote to the next company who would then give a cheaper quote, and repeat until I was happy with the price. Pretty straightforward.

I didnt have much stuff but I started with a 3man quote and ended up with 2man (which was 123). Probably could have gotten it cheaper but I was kind of tired to talk to these companies by then.

123 gave me a bunch of boxes and masking tape, bubble wrap, other packing materials for free. You could check with each company if they provide this but I think it is standard practice to receive it.
