The Chinese Government has just announced that it has suspended issuing visa for travel from Japan to China. The Chinese Embassy in Japan has notified Japanese travel agents. All visas are covered and the duration of the suspension has not yet been decided.
The reason for this has not been made clear, but it is believed that the Chinese Government has taken measures to temporarily suspend visa issuance for South Koreans as a countermeasure against border restrictions, and has decided to take the same measures for Japan.
