Forgien cars | 2015-2017 | km 35-50k | worth to buy? I am concern with maintenance cost and Shaken.

I want to buy a car, I can see some good deals around 1 million yen, from 2015-2017 with km 25-50km.
I concern about maintenance and insurance cost, and Shaken.
Looking for SUV, family cars.

Is anyone have experience with forginers cars in Japan?

  1. If you’re worried about price, stick with Japanese. Foreign cars will cost more to maintain

  2. I have a 10 year old european car. It’s not very expensive to insure but service can be a bit much due to the need to import parts. Japanese cars will definitely be cheaper to maintain.

  3. A million yen for 50k sounds like a very bad deal. Depending on the car, that could be a further 100,000 yen or more for shaken every two years. And that’s if you have two years of shaken up front.
