ISI or Kai? Can’t decide on a school

I have done extensive research on Japanese language schools in Tokyo and I’ve narrowed down my choices to Kai and ISI. I have seen a lot of mixed reviews for both, but a lot of them are super old. Does anyone have recent (0-3 years back) experience at either school? I’m mostly worried about:

– Does either school make it easier to learn kanji? (I’ve heard schools with majority of Chinese students results in the classes skipping over kanji learning entirely)

– Does either school encourage speaking or do they only focus on reading/writing? (I want to learn everything of course – reading/writing/speaking)

Thank you in advance!!!
