2. The future of Zack and TMDK might be the thing I’m most excited about seeing where it goes in 2023. Zack will always be Zack, but the new ‘Frontman’ moniker and vibe of TMDK might bring out more of the eccentric showman in him and a little less petulant heel.

   I think my ideal group would be Zack, Haste and Nicholls, Bad Dude Tito, and Clark Connors because I’m becoming increasingly convinced that this is where he belongs. They all just seem like the same flavor of weird and I want to see it unleashed. I could see Clark making a case for a shot at the TV Title and being offered a home in TMDK after a hard fought loss.

   Maybe you add a second Jr. for Clark to tag with? He’s a star on the rise so it’d have to be someone in a different stage of their career. You could always just continue to feed Fujita into the woodchipper, but someone more veteran could also work. No one with the same kind of specific-yet-vague weirdness is jumping out at me though. Maybe Robbie? Alex Zayne?

4. Yeah, nope, i’m still crying over Zack not being with Suzuki-Gun in any way or shape, all though I have to say I wasn’t big on TMDK but here I am now waving the flag.

   It’s that nebulous western idea of a stable splitting up because “it’s time,” like nah I need a good reason in storyline why ZSJ would just stop hanging out with Taichi. I understand why they’d have them go singles but why would they just stop associating

7. This is exciting. Empire slowly became the best new faction (in my opinion) in pro-wrestling but over the course of two years. But TMDK instantly became my favorite thing happening in New Japan.
