  1. Fair enough.

Edit- To me the biggest story is this.

    4 – Sanshiro Takagi (4.55%)
    5 – Gedo (2.55%)

Considering the strides TJPW and DDT have made the past year, I can understand Sanshiro getting the votes. Still imagine this result like 4 years ago.

  2. I mean Gedo had corrected a lot of the wrongs this year, and NJPW big shows delivered.

I actually think TK has regressed. 2022 seemed like a year of surprise debut pops for him, but continuing momentum with key wrestlers has been a struggle for AEW.

HHH I’ll give credit where credit is due, dude spent a good chunk of time cleaning up after Vince.

If you’re strictly talking about Japan I would’ve picked Rossy Ogawa.

  3. Not surprising. The people that vote on these things are usually the weirdo die hards that make a brand their personality

  4. How? The terrible Daniel Garcia stuff, the awful moxley/punk stuff. The terrible title reigns of Guevarra and Thunder Rosa.

Plus failing to utilize most of his roster. TK was definitely not the booker of the year lol

  5. Tells you mainly about which people are in majority when it comes to partaking in these kinds of things.

  6. Yeah, I don’t really agree and I was a heavy AEW fan.

Tony Khan does a lot of superficial/indecisive booking. He’s made some choices I had to scratch my head on (Wardlow’s reign, FTR, House Of Black, even Hangman’s reign).

Triple H, who I’m not the biggest fan of, def deserved the nod as he def made WWE better than what it was under Vince.

  7. I’ve never heard of WrestlePurists, but if y’all get mad over what other people like that’s a y’all problem not a them problem.

  8. What a joke.

This is the same Tony Khan who booked Page’s disappointing AEW Championship reign, the dumpster fire that was the Shark Cage deathmatch match, the whole interim champions mess and Punk’s feuds with Moxley and Page.
