Love Uchi. I go there a lot for the scallop nigiri
Uchi Austin was the first restaurant I worked at after culinary school. That restaurant will always have a special place in my heart
It’s just dawned on me I’ve never seen uni nigiri, even in Japan lol. Always gunkan. this sounds great too!
I love Uchi. I’m pretty sure it was the first restaurant that made me audibly say “wow” in response to eating a bite of food. That experience elevated an interest in food to like a full passion for food.
Never had Uni. You can’t get Uni here at sushi places. One Michelin star place serves it a week or two in spring, that’s it. I need to try Uni.
Love Uchi. The Hama Chili is one of my favorite dishes ever.
